Ongoing uprising | People from several cities and towns in northern Syria go out in protests, demanding the toppling of the Syrian regime and “Al-Julani”

Many cities, towns, and villages in north-western Syria, within HTS-held areas, witnessed mass demonstrations demanding the overthrow of the Syrian regime’s president and “Al-Julani,” the leader of HTS, the release of detainees in HTS prisons and the abolition of its General Security Service.

Dozens of people from Idlib, Ariha, Kafr Takharim, Qurqaneiya, Binnish, Deir Hassan, Atamah camps, Al-Atareb, Ebein Sam’an and Al-Saharah went out in protests, demanding HTS to stay away from civil administration in the region, emphasizing the necessity of achieving justice and freedom.

In Idlib city, the protesters lifted placards with slogans demanding the overthrow of “Al-Julani” and his security chaos, where they expressed their support for political detainees and their anger towards the policies of HTS and called for genuine reforms in the region.

On September 10, SOHR sources reported that protests erupted in several areas in north western of Syria and its leader “Al-Golany”, following assaults on women in front of Court of Grievances in Idlib, while they were protesting and demanding the release of prisoners in prisons of HTS.

Sounds of protesters have risen against “Al-Golany” with insults, as he is being accused by a large portion of civilians of “collaborating with the International Coalition to assassinate commanders in Idlib.”
