Ambushed by unknown gunmen | Commander among three Syrians working for Hez*bollah ki*lled near Syria-Lebanon border
Rif Dimashq province: Three Syrian gunmen working for the Lebanese Hezbollah, including a commander, were killed in an ambush by unidentified gunmen in Hafir Al-Fuqa town in Qalamoun area in Rif Dimashq near the Syria-Lebanon border.
After the assassination, a large number of members of the military intelligence and political security services were deployed in the region, searching for the attackers.
This coincides with the escalating security chaos in regime-controlled areas.
On August 3, SOHR sources reported that unidentified gunmen opened machinegun fire on a group affiliate with regime forces known as “Hesn Al-Watan” militia in Hosh Arab town in Al-Qalamoun area in western Rif Dimashq. The attack left four members of the group injured and they were taken to the hospital.
