Worrying security chaos | Violent clashes follow infighting among cousins in eastern Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: Violent clashes with light and medium weapons erupted among cousins from “Fakhz Al-Jasab” of “Al-She’aytat” tribe in Gharnaj town in east Deir Ezzor countryside following the stealing of a pistol. However, no casualties have been reported.

The clashes coincide with a state of growing tension and worrying security disorder in the region, amid appeals by residents to elders to interfere and break up the clashes.

This coincides with the escalating security chaos in SDF-controlled areas.
