To monitor drones heading towards occupied Golan and in anticipation of attacks by Iranian-backed militias | International Coalition Forces conduct exercises at Al-Tanaf base

The “International Coalition” forces stationed at “Al-Tanaf” base, in the 55-kilometre zone at the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border triangle, have been continuing their intensive military exercises for several days, as loud explosions were heard in the area, reaching Al-Rukban camp, resulting from the use of heavy weapons and artillery shells within these exercises. These trainings come in light of a high state of alert by the “Coalition” forces, coinciding with enhancing readiness at posts affiliated with the “Free Syrian Army” faction deployed on the outskirts of the 55-kilometre zone.
These exercises and alerts come in anticipation of any attacks by Iranian-backed militias and to monitor drones flying over the region towards the occupied Syrian Golan, where these drones are conducting maneuvers to target the Israeli forces stationed there. The warplanes of the “International Coalition” are constantly working to intercept and shoot down these drones, and during the past period they were able to monitor and shoot down some of them, while some drones succeeded in reaching their targets and carrying out attacks inside the occupied Syrian Golan.
Yesterday, a drone of the “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” attacked a position of Israeli forces stationed in the occupied Syrian Al-Golan after launching from the Syrian Desert, where the drone was witnessed in the Syrian Desert minutes before heading towards the occupied Al-Golan, where the “International Coalition” Forces in “Al-Tanf” base failed to block it.
