After “recruiting his daughter by YPG and preventing him from seeing her” a man set himself on fire

A Kurdish citizens in the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî) is still suffering from injuries and burns, because he set himself on fire in the city, where local sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the man set himself on fire after the Kurdish forces in the city prevented him from seeing his daughter, which the man said that “YPG recruited her in its ranks” adding that his daughter is still “a minor and underage that doesn’t allows her recruitment or allow Kurdish units to accept her recruitment”, the man was taken to the hospital and his request to see his daughter and talk to her was denied, also other sources said that the man set fire to himself in front of a self-management institutions in the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî).

It is worth mentioning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had sent earlier several requests for YPG to stop recruiting people under the age of 18, and to demobilize the children who have been recruited earlier by the Kurdish forces in its control areas.
