The rebel and Islamist factions take control over hills and areas in the northern countryside of Hama

Hama Province:

The violent clashes are still taking place between the rebel and Islamist factions against the regime forces and allied militiamen in the northern and northeastern countryside of Hama, where the rebel and Islamist factions could seize the two hills of Othman and al- Janabra as well as the gas station of Hamidi and a point in the west of Morek town. Thus, by seizing Othman hill the rebels reinforce their control on the area around the hill. The rebels could destroy armored vehicles for the regime forces, seize 2 tanks, an armored vehicle, weapons and cannons in these clashes that resulted in the death of 4 fighters of the rebels, including a commander, information about casualties on the regime forces’ ranks too. In addition, a leader in an Islamist faction killed in clashes with the regime forces and allied militiamen in the northern countryside of Hama.

 

The Russian warplanes hit places in the towns of al- Latamnah and Kafar Zita north of Hama.
