More than 170 were killed in Syria yesterday
The dead include: 22 civilians, 38 rebel fighters, 43 regular soldiers, 3 YPG fighters, 1 defected lieutenant, 12 unidentified rebel fighters, 21 combatants from the NDF and popular defence committees, 11 fighters from the ISIS, al-Nusra and some rebel factions and 6 non-Syrian rebel fighters.
By province: Dera’a (7 civilians and 5 rebel fighters). Homs (3 civilians and 10 rebel fighters). Idlib (2 civilians and 6 rebel fighters). Reef Dimashq (7 civilians and 13 rebel fighters). Damascus (2 rebel fighters). Deir Izzor (1 rebel fighter). Aleppo (3 civilians and 1 rebel fighter).

– 8 civilians were documented as killed earlier. 2 from Aleppo city (1 from Karm al-Qaterji neighbourhood and 1 from Halab al-Jadida neighbourhood) were tortured to death under regime detainment. 3 civilians 2 of which are from Ariha city, were killed by regime bombardment on the city at the end of August. 3 men from Ourm al-Joz were shot near the Ariha city.
– Reports that 13 civilians were killed. A child and woman were shot and later found in a well in Ariha city. 2 were shot by sniper in the al-Maktar street. 1 child was shot by sniper at the Karaj al-Hajz checkpoint. 1 child was shot during clashes between rebel fighters and the YPG in al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighbourhood. women were shot by sniper in al-SHeikh Maqsoud neighbourhood.
– 2 civilians (1 child and 1 man) and 14 rebel fighters were killed by regime bombardment on the fields in between the towns of al-Keswa and al-Mqeilbiya of Reef Dimashq.
– The Shari’a council executed a rebel fighter from Salqin in his town of Reef Idlib, accusing him of cooperating with the Syrian authorities.

– 10 fighters from the ISIS, al-Nusra front and some rebel factions were killed by clashes with the YPG in al-Hasaka and Aleppo city.

– At least 43 regular soldiers, including 4 officers, were killed by clashes with rebel fighters, sniper fire, bombardment and attacks on machineries in several provinces: 19 in Damascus and Reef Dimashq, 3 Deir Izzor, 3 Aleppo, 4 Hama, 5 Dera’a, 6 Idlib, and 3 in Homs.
