Approximately 200 were killed in Syria on Monday


The dead include: 49 civilians, 46 rebel fighters, 46 regular soldiers, 10 unidentified rebel fighters, 18 NDF combatants and at least 17 non-Syrian fighters from the ISIS, al-Nusra and rebel factions.


– In Reef Dimashq 14 civilians and 30 rebel fighters were killed. A man, his son, 1 child and 3 other civilians were killed by regime bombardment on areas in the Babila town in southern Reef Dimashq. 20 rebel fighters were killed by clashes with regular forces and bombardment on areas in the al-Ghouta al-Sharqiya.


– In Aleppo 20 civilians and 2 rebel fighters were killed. 8 civilians, including 2 children, were killed by an air raid on parts of the al-Bab city. 5 civilians were killed by rocket bombardment on the al-Achrafiya neighbourhood. The wife of a rebel fighter and his son were killed by aerial bombardment, with explosive barrels, on areas of the al-Ma’sarani neighbourhood. 2 children were killed by shells that fell on parts of Halab al-Qadima (old Aleppo).

– In Homs 5 civilians and 7 rebel fighters were killed. 4 rebel fighters were killed by clashes with regular forces in the Asmad fields of southern Reef Homs. 2 girls and 1 man died of wounds received earlier by bombardment on the al-Mahatta neighbourhood near the military security branch in Homs city. 1 child from the Bab al-Drein neighbourhood died of wounds received earlier by bombardment on areas of the al-Wa’er neighbourhood.

– In Idlib 5 civilians and 1 rebel fighter were killed. 2 women’s corpses were found under the rubble by aerial bombardment on parts of the Sarmin town. 1 man was found dead in the Beqros area, he was killed under unknown circumstances.

– In Dera’a 2 civilians and 1 rebel fighter were killed.

– In Hama 2 civilians and 2 rebel fighters were killed.

– In al-Raqqa 2 rebel fighters were killed.

– In Damascus 1 rebel fighter was killed.

– In Deir Izzor 1 man was killed.

– 10 men from the Aghaybash village of western Reef Tal Tamer city in al-Hasaka were killed by clashes with YPG forces in the village, fighters accused the YPG of killing them and stated that the men were civilians. Kurdish sources stated that the men were fighters from the ISIS, al-Nusra and rebel factions and that they were killed during clashes.

– A Russian news agency reported that one of its drivers was shot by a sniper in Syria but the agency did not mention the area in which he was killed.

– 10 unidentified rebel fighters were killed by clashes and bombardment in several areas.

– Reports that several gunmen from tribes who pledged allegiance to the ISIS were killed by clashes with al-Nusra and rebel fighters in the perimeter of Oil wells in Reef Deir Izzor.

– At least 17 non-Syrian fighters from the ISIS, al-Nusra and rebel factions were killed by clashes, aerial and rocket bombardment in several provinces.

– 18 NDF combatants were killed by clashes and attacks on checkpoints in several areas.

– At least 46 regular soldiers were killed by clashes, IED attacks and rocket attacks on centres, checkpoints and machineries in several provinces: 17 Damascus and Reef DImashq, 10 Homs, 5 al-Raqqa, 1 al-Qneitra, 1 Dera’a, 8 Aleppo, 4 Hama.
