The regime forces retake Marj al- Sultan town and its airbase after losing them 3 years ago

Rif Dimashq Province:

A child killed by an IS sniper in the town of Yilda in the south of Rif Dimashq, while a fighter from the Islamist factions died after he was wounded in clashes with the regime forces and allied militiamen around the city of Harasta. In addition, 2 fighters from Jabhat al- Nusra killed due to targeting their car by an IED in Jrud Qarah in al- Qalamun.

 

The regime forces could seize the airbase of Marj al- Sultan and the town of al- Marj after violent clashes with Jabhat al- Nusra, the rebel and Islamist factions that accompanied by intense airstrikes and shelling by the regime forces.
