Completing the first phase of the prisoners and abductees exchange in the countryside of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that an exchange of 20 detainees, abductees and prisoners of war in addition to bodies took place between gunmen loyal to the regime from the towns of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah in the countryside of Idlib with fighters from the Islamic factions, where intersecting sources confirmed to the of activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the fighters of the factions handed over 11 abductees and prisoners of war (including citizen women from the towns of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah)in exchange of 9 prisoners and a body were being held by the gunmen loyal to the regime in Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, as part of an agreement which includes handing over 28 abductees and prisoners from both towns in exchange of 35 detainees and 7 bodies being held by the gunmen in Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, and the field sources confirmed to the activists of Observatory in Hama that the exchange took place in al-Madiq Castle area in the western countryside of Hamam but it wasn’t fully completed because of the dispute over an unrecognized body by the militants of both towns, part of the exchange process was done between both parties, and the agreement will be completed at a later time.
