The Syrian Democratic Forces takeover Shaddadi city in Al-Hasakah after nearly 3 days of starting the offensive

Al-Hasaka Province:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that The Syrian Democratic Forces have took control of Shaddadi city, the stronghold of the “Islamic State” in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah, after a fierce offensive launched at the dawn of February the 17th, where the Syrian Democratic Forces have attacked from two main areas, al-Hool area and the area of Mount Abdul-Aziz in the southwestern countryside of Al-Hasakah, and the fierce clash was accompanied by airstrikes carried out by the international coalition’s warplanes, but controlling Shaddadi city does not mean that the villages located between the city, Mount Abdulaziz and south of Hasaka city are now all outside of ISIS control, because the Syrian Democratic Forces have took the organization off guard by this offensive, and the goal was to control Shaddadi city first.
