Islamic battalions start a new battle in Dar’a

Dera’a province: The Ahrar al-Sham islamic movement, al-Mathna islamic movement, Thuwar Souriya front, al-Muhajireen Wal Ansar brigae, Ansar al-Sham front and several other islamic and rebel factions announced the start of the “Allahu Akbar” battle to “to uphold the words of Allah and overpower the forces of blasphemy and evil from our land and people”, the battle aims at taking hold of 3 points (Matouq al-Kabir hill, Matouq al-Saghir hill and Kharbat Fadi area) in the perimeter of the Ankhel city in order to reach the Damascus-Dera’a road. Clashes broke out with regular forces in the perimeter of the hills and the 115th division which led to the damage of a Shilka vehicle and reports of human losses from both sides.

Areas in the Ahsam town were bombarded by regular forces earlier this morning amid aerial bombardment on parts of the town. 8 islamic and rebel fighters were killed; 1 died of wounds received earlier by clashes with regular forces and pro-regime militants in the Gharz prison and the rest were killed by a gas pipeline explosion in between the Nasib town and Gharz area. 1 man from the Nasib town died under regime detainment. 1 man from the al-Na’ima town was killed by sniper gunfire on the Dera’a city.
