YPG re-close the roads they opened in previous agreements with local factions and parties in the countryside of Aleppo

YPG released a statement and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of it, where they have announced the closure of the border crossings which they had opened earlier in an agreement with factions and parties in the northern countryside of Aleppo and in the countryside of Idlib, the statement said:
“” After the advancement of the mercenaries of Daesh  toward Azaz and besieging Mare’,  we took the initiative to open all crossings for civilians and for the injured people of those groups. At the same time, we worked to save many of the civilians trapped by the Daesh and getting them to safe areas. And when the people of Idlib demanded to open a humanitarian crossing to provide the demands of everyday life, we in Afrin province have initiated to show a humanitarian stance and open a humanitarian crossing between Afrin and Idlib, and despite all these peaceful initiatives; the groups of the Syrian Civil Coalition stepped up their attacks against Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood which resulted since yesterday in the loss of 9 civilians and the death of 6 of our fighters. It has become clear that these groups responded to the humanitarian initiatives of Afrin province, with clear hostile stance which does not belong to any ethical principles”

The statement added:
“”We in the leadership of the People and women Protection Units in Afrin area will not stand idly against these practices and hostile attitudes and we declare that starting from this moment we will close all crossings in front of these groups, and we will respond to the brutal attacks against Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood.””
