A commander in Marea asks the factions to stop attacking Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood so Marea is not besieged from west
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of an appeal by the commander of Al-Shamiyyah Front; Abu al-Walid Al-Mar’ei, in which he called on the factions in the vicinity of Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood in Aleppo to stop its assault on the neighborhood, saying that this attack could shut the west of Marea in the face of the transferring of wounded and fighters, and the operations of getting the women, children and displaced people out of Marea towards areas controlled by The Syrian Democratic Forces, and the commander said in the appeal:
“” [to] all the factions in the vicinity of Sheikh Maqsood, use your mind, and do not kill the trapped people of Marea by your attack, for the attack you have carried out on Sheikh Maqsood affects us in Marea from the west, because we get our injured persons out by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and our people and our honor (he means women) we get them out by their areas, even the food they help us to get it and they give it to us, there’s no reason for this attack on Sheikh Maqsood, try to calm the situation down, because Marea has witnessed the most violent attack by Daesh, so if the Syrian Democratic Forces closed the road from the west of Marea; how will the situation be.””
