The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights demands the ISIS to release more than 2000 detainee:

The ISIS has been kidnapping 150 Kurdish students for 10 days in Minbej city of Reef Aleppo, they were taken when the ISIS stopped busses transporting them back to A’in al-A’rab (Kobani) city after they finished their academic examinations in the regime-held areas of Aleppo city on May 29th. Reports that the ISIS moved them to the al-Bab city of north eastern Reef Aleppo which the ISIS controls.

Sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the ISIS released female students who were kidnapped along with the others but forced them back to Aleppo city and refused to allow them to go to the city of Kobani. The sources also reported that the Syrian authorities refused to assign examination centres in the A’in al-A’rab (Kobani) city, which is under the YPG’s control, forcing approximately 1500 students from Kobani to travel to Aleppo city and risk their lives in order to complete their examinations.

The ISIS also kidnapped on May 29th at least 193 Syrian Kurds, of ages ranging from 17 till 70, from the Qabasin town of Reef al-Bab city in Aleppo and carried out a series of raids and inspections in the town.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights fear from the ISIS’ recruitment of the kidnapped children for carrying out suicide explosions and attacks.

We renew our call for the release of more than 2000 persons kidnapped by the ISIS in Aleppo, al-Hasaka, al-Raqqa and Deir Izzor. The kidnapped include more than 500 Syrian Kurds as well as the prominent Human Rights activist Abdallah al-Khalil.
