More than 3100 fighters and soldiers from the regime forces and their militiamen have been killed since Bashar Al Assad speech of the tantalizing promises.

Reliable resources assured for SOHR that the death toll of the regime forces and their militiamen has exceeded 110000 soldiers during 41 months.

The regime forces and their militiamen are still losing more and more human casualties. The number of soldiers and fighters from the regime forces, NDF fighters and the pro-militiamen from non-Syrian nationalities and from the Shia Sect who were killed since Bashar Al- Assad speech in July 16, after swearing on the occasion of his victory in farce of the presidential elections, until August 25 has reached to 3136.

The death toll is as following:

1716 soldiers and officers from the regime forces were killed by detonating IEDs , shooting down helicopters, targeting the gatherings by shells and rockets, snipers, booby trapped cars and executions and clashes with the Islamic State, Al Nusra Front, Al Mohajereen wal Ansar army, the Islamic and rebel battalions as well as Ansar al Din Front.

1417 fighters from NDF, Al Quds Al Filastini Brigade, members of the Arab Baath Socialist Party, the People’s committees, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Popular Front for the Liberation of Iskenderun District and pro-regime militiamen from Arab, Asian and Iranian nationalities form Shia Sect were killed in clashes with the Islamic State, Al Nusra Front, Al Mohajereen wal Ansar army and the Islamic and rebel battalions, as well as by targeting their gatherings by shells and rockets, snipers and detonating IEDs.

852 soldiers, officers and fighters from the regime forces, NDF and guards of Al Sha’er gas field were killed by booby trapped cars, ambushes, executions and clashes with the Islamic State in Al Raqqa, Al Hasaka, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Rif Dimashq and Deir Ezzor. The rate of the deaths from the regime forces with IS reached to nearly 27% out of the total.

The publicizing of this statistic comes 40 days later after Bashar Al Assad speech where he promised his audience and slappers that the regime forces are going to re-capture areas like Al Raqqa, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and other regions in Syria, but instead they have started to lose more checkpoints, military barracks, economic institutions as well as losing more than 3100 soldiers in the largest rate of casualties, in 40 days, among the regime forces and their militiamen since the beginning of the Syrian revolution on 18th march in 2011.

This statistic comes in conjunction with tension that prevails in a lot of villages, towns and cities of the Syrian coastal, the western countryside of Hama and Homs where the regime’s soldiers come from and who were in the Military Airport of al Tabaqa. A lot of soldiers’ families have lost contact with their sons who were serving in the Military Airport of al Tabaqa, the Division 17 and the Brigade 93 in the Province of al Raqqa as well as in the oilfield of Sha’er in the eastern countryside of Homs, where the regime left them to face their unknown destiny in front of IS.

In addition to, the dissemination of this statistic comes coincided with the continuing tension in the areas from which the regime’s fighters and militiamen come from due to not broadcasting news and photos for the funerals of their son’s bodies who were killed the these clashes as well as the regime did not even work on dragging a lot of bodies while Hezbollah has made formal funeral processions for its dead fighters and pushed large numbers of fighters in order to regain even a body of a fighter.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, and for the sake of preventing further bloodshed, re-demanded from the young not to join the stand-by military service and rejecting to join the regime army in order not to kill more of our people, where Hundreds of thousands were killed and injured while millions are displaced during the last 40 months because of the arrogance resolutions of the regime. So, instead of listening to the people’s demands of democracy, freedom, justice and equality it has used the military force against the Syrian people.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Right demands from people of the towns, cities and villages of the Syrian coastal mountains not to join Al Shabiha militias and NDF because the regime has used them in its battle in order to kill the Syrian people, where tens of thousands of civilians were killed by these militias.

Reliable resources with a strong link with officers in the Division of Organization and Administration in the Syrian Regime Army reported to SOHR that the death toll of the regime forces is more than 75000 that means 35000 soldiers more than the number which is document by SOHR. And the death toll of NDF and the people’s armed committees ( al Shabiha) has reached to 40000, that means 14000 more than the number which SOHR could document. The same resources reported that about 70 % of the casualties of the regime forces and their militiamen are Syrians and come from villages, towns and cities of the Syrian coastal, the western countryside of Hama and areas from the city of Homs and its countryside.
