Aerial bombardment targets Menbej and continued clashes around the city

Coalition warplanes bombarded the silos of Menbej city area amid continued clashes for the 17th day between SDF and IS south and north of Menbej city in an attempt by SDF to advance towards the city after cutting the roads which connect the city to surrounding towns and villages, Bombardment continued by SDF on IS locations in Menbek amid aerial bombardment on the city by the U.S led coalition warplanes, SDF advanced and took control on 2 new villages.

The clashes and bombardment by the U.S led coalition warplanes led to the death of 274 militants in IS including non-Syrian field commanders and The Sharia commander in Menbej city, while no less than 29 militants in SDF were killed during the same clashes. IS killed 19 civilians, including 5 children and 2 women were killed by IS bombardment on Kherba al-Ros, 2 men were killed by IS landmines in Om al-Safa,  9 civilians including 4 women and 2 children were killed by targeting them by IS militants north of Menbej, and 49 civilians including 16 children and 10 women in addition to 10 prisoners, were all killed by aerial bombardment by the U.S led coalition warplanes in Ojaqnah village, Menbej city and its surroundings. 1200 civilians were able to escape the city of Menbej and reach SDF controlled areas.

It should be noted that a special German, American and French forces, are taking part with The Syria Democratic Forces in its offensive against the organization in Manbij, where the German forces -which are estimated at about 50, including about 20 military advisers- are helping in the tasks of mine dismantling and in the technical and consultant services, also the US and French troops are taking part in the second line of the front.
