Resentment in the areas controlled by the factions in Aleppo due to slaughtering a prisoner in al-MashHad neighborhood by the fighters of Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki

The activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a great resentment among the residents of al-MashHad neighborhood and other neighborhoods controlled by the factions in Aleppo, because fighters from Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki slaughtered a prisoner they said that they captured him in Handarat camp north of Aleppo city, and they said that he is a fighter from al-Quds al-Filastini Brigade loyal to the regime and that he was hiding when he was arrested, they took him to al-MashHad neighborhood, where the slaughter of the captive took place, they used a knife to slaughter him, the slaughter and separating his head from his body took about 30 seconds, and it was carried out by a fighter from Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki, the fighter slit the neck of the child until he separated his head completely from his body after 30 seconds of the start of the slaughter, the slaughter took place in the trunk of a pickup car, after which the fighter raised the head high in the air and then put it back on the body of the slaughtered along with chants, also civil sources confirmed to the activists of the Observatory, that the slaughter process did not witness any gathering of people around it, the people who expressed their resentment of this slaughter, unlike the slaughter operations that take place in areas controlled by the “Islamic state”, which witness gathering of people around it, while reliable sources confirmed that the boy who was slaughtered was suffering from thalassemia disease (which is a blood disorder involving less than normal amounts of an oxygen-carrying protein).

Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki issued yesterday a statement saying that this “individual mistake does not represent the policy of the movement” and that “all persons who carried out this abuse were arrested” and that they were handed over to a judicial commission formed to investigate the matter and find the truth.
