The third US citizen fighter is killed in Manbij area and casualty number rises to about 1800 civilians and fighters

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a fighter of American citizenship was killed while fighting along with Syria Democratic Forces and he is called William Savage, he was killed during clashes in Manbij area at the northeastern countryside of Aleppo against the “Islamic State”, rising to 315, the number of fighters of SDF, who have been killed since the 31st of May 2016, until today the 17th of August 2016, including the commander in this troops and the commander of Shams al-Shamal Brigades Faisal Al Saadoun, also known as “Abu Laila” and 6 others of Arab and Europe nationalities, all of them were killed in shelling, the explosion of booby trapped vehicles and sniper fire in the city of Manbij and its countryside.

 

While it rose to 444 civilian citizens, including 106 children under the age of eighteen, and 55 citizen women over the age of eighteen, the number of civilian casualties killed in the same period, they are 203 people including 52 children and 18 citizen women and 8 prisoners, the number of Syrians civilian casualties killed by the international coalition’s warplanes in the city of Manbij and its vicinity at the same period, and 241 people including 54 children under the age of eighteen and 37 citizen women over the age of 18, the number of civilian casualties who were killed in shelling by the “Islamic State”, the fire of their snipers, heavy machineguns and the explosion of mines planted by the organization in the city, its outskirts and countryside, and by shelling by the Syria Democratic Forces and the fire of their snipers, and because of the explosion of booby trapped vehicles during the same period.
