More than 1800 killed or wounded civilians since the collapse of the American-Russian casefire in Aleppo

Amid silence by the international community, regime and Russian warplanes continue targeting civilians in Aleppo with percussion bombs since the collapse of the Russian-American casefire agreement in the 19th of September 2016, leading to the death of large number of civilians committing massacres against the Syrian community in Aleppo.

SOHR was able to document the death of 517 civilians including 105 children and 40 women in Aleppo since the 19th of September until today the 10th of October 2016, they were all killed by aerial bombardment which targeted civilian houses and hospitals and led to massive destruction in the buildings, in an attempt by regime forces and Russia to cut the life materials and supplies from civilians to reach the Russian target to force civilians to move into the western sections of Aleppo which are controlled by regime forces, amid continued military operations in the city and its southern and northern outskirts.

The dead included 309 civilians ( 59 children and 16 women ) killed by Russian airstrikes and regime warplanes and Helicopters in the eastern neighborhoods, 37 of them were killed by continued aerial bombardment in the past few days including 4 children and 13 unidentified people, while hundreds others were wounded or seriously wounded.

20 civilians including 4 children and a woman killed by artillery bombardment on al-Maadi neighborhood, Saif al-Dawla, Sakhour, and al-Halak, in addition to other areas of the eastern Section of Aleppo.

133 civilians killed by aerial bombardment by Syrian and Russian airstrikes targeted the northern, Eastern, and western sections of Aleppo, including 32 children and 12 women, the airstrikes wounded dozens others.

51 civilians killed by shells fired by rebels targeted the western neighborhoods of Aleppo including 10 children and 11 women.

3 killed by shells fired by rebels targeted Shekh Maqsoud neighborhood.

A man killed by YPG sniper in al-Halak neighborhood.

the aerial bombardment and rebel shells also wounded no less than 1300 civilians amid a lack of medical supplies and resources in Aleppo.
