More than 13 thousand Syrian civilians were killed and wounded in 6 months of escalated bombing on Aleppo city

The killing machine continue taking the lives of Syrian civilian citizens, doesn’t care to the international community, which is still covering its ears and turn a blind eye to the killing of the Syrian civilians, where the city of Aleppo is witnessing for the sixth consecutive month an escalation of the bombing using all types of weapons, starting from the warplanes of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, through shells, artillery and missiles, up to snipers by all parties, in addition to the fall of shells on regime forces’ controlled areas in Aleppo city and on areas controlled by YPG in the neighborhood of al-Shaikh Maqsoud, which resulted in nothing but more casualties and further killing of the Syrian civilian citizens, where it rose to 2114 including 479 children under the age of eighteen and 262 citizen women over the age of eighteen, the number of people who were killed and the Syrian Observatory for human rights managed to document since the 22nd of April 2016 until the dawn of today the 22nd of October 2016, they were killed in this continuous escalated bombing and shelling, which destroyed hundreds of houses and injured more than 11 thousands other persons.

Among the total number of casualties which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to document, there are 1282 casualties, including 261 children and 113 citizen women, killed by hundreds of airstrikes carried out by warplanes on areas in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo which are controlled by the factions, also the bombing caused destruction of material and damaged tens of homes and property of citizens and buildings in the neighborhoods of which have been targeted, in addition to the injury of hundreds of citizens, including children, and citizen women.

While SOHR documented the death of 121 citizens, including 32 children and 11 women one of them is an old woman; they were killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo.

Also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 667 civilian citizens, including 176 children under the age of eighteen, and 131 citizen women above the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of tens of shells and local-made rockets and explosive gas cylinders on places controlled by the regime forces in the western neighborhoods of Aleppo, in addition to injuring hundreds of people, including citizen women and children, and it also caused physical damage to the property of citizens.

While 30 citizens were killed, including 7 children and 4 citizen women in shelling by the rebel and Islamic factions on areas in the neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsood which has a Kurdish-majority and controlled by YPG in Aleppo.

And 7 citizens were killed in shelling and shooting in al-Castelo road and in al-Halk neighborhood in Aleppo and its outskirts, and crossed sources confirmed that the snipers of The Syrian Democratic Forces have opened fire on them and killed them.

And a lady and her child and the uncle of the child, as well as two citizen women and two children of one family were killed in an explosion of a mortars shells plant in a building at the neighborhood of al-Sekkary in Aleppo city.

We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, consider the temporary truces for hours, are not to stop the blood shedding of the civilians, nor to stop committing massacres against them, but rather than a break for the killers and the perpetrators of the massacres against the people of Aleppo city and the Syrian people, before resuming committing their crimes, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights renews his call for the referral of the file of war crimes and the crimes against humanity to the international Criminal Court, so the killers do not escape the punishment in a frame of any international political solution.
