72 hours after a massacre by the International Coalition… the Syria Democratic Forces control Heisha village

Al-Raqqah Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by several reliable sources that the Syria Democratic Forces backed by warplanes of the international coalition managed to advance in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, the stronghold of the “Islamic state”, and took control of the village of Heisha, which is about 8 km away from the road of Rudko that connects Aleppo to Qameshly, they also took control of the villages of Khniz Foqani, Khniz and Sultani which are about 14 kilometers away from the road of Rudko, this control came after violent clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against organization, and shelling by SDF on these villages, which rise it to 26, the number of farms, villages and sites controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces since the start of “Euphrates Wrath” operation at the 6th of November 2016, which aims to isolate the city of Al-Raqqah from the northern and eastern countryside, in preparation for taking control of Al- Raqqah city which is considered the stronghold of the “Islamic State” in Syria, also clashes continue in the vicinity Khniz area, in an attempt by the Syria Democratic Forces to advance further, while a person was killed in the shelling that targeted the village of Khniz by SDF and warplanes of the international coalition, in conjunction with the continued displacement movement of tens of families from the fighting and shelling areas and from the areas of Heisha and Khniz to areas away of the military operations.
