The Syria Democratic Forces continue their attempts to advance in Tal al-Samn in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah

The violent clashes are still taking place between members of the “Islamic State” against the Syria Democratic Forces backed by the warplanes of the international coalition in the vicinity of Tal al-Samn and other areas in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, the Syria Democratic Forces are trying to advancement and expand their controlled areas and control Tal al-Samn area, after controlling 29 farms, villages and sites in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah and in the countryside of Ayn Issa northwest of Al-Raqqah since the beginning of “Euphrates Wrath” operation in the 6th of November 2016, and the clashes coincide with shelling by the Syria Democratic Forces on areas controlled by the organization, and exchange of targeting between both of them, in addition to targeting the organization and its positions and controlled areas by the international coalition’s warplanes, amid continued displacement for tens of families from their homes and villages which are near the military operations towards safer areas.
