More than 20 IS militants were killed in clashes with YPG.

 

 

Reliable resources reported to SOHR that some IS militants tried to advance yesterday night towards the Freedom Square or what is unkown by al Expres Square located in the center of the city of Kobani, where IS militants are fighting vigorously in order to advance, take photos and retreat immediately to demoralize YPG fighters. Violent clashes took place at the outskirts of the Square leading to the death of some IS militants while others retreated to the eastern neighborhoods in the city of Kobani.

 

In addition to, SOHR knew that 16 militants were killed when 2 trucks carried munitions tried to advance from the road of Minas towards the southwest of the city of Kobani that led to the explosion of the two trucks due to targeting them by YPG.

 

7 IS militants also died due to targeting their vehicle by YPG fighters in the west of Kobani where YPG fighters could drag their bodies. The violent clashes between YPG and IS fighters have still occurred in the south of Kobani.
