About 180 casualties in Aleppo and its countryside during 5 days of bombing escalation, hundreds of wounded are in a catastrophic situation

The Syrian Observatory for human rights has documented the rise of number of casualties 176 at least, they were killed in the eastern and western neighborhoods of Aleppo city and areas in the countryside of Aleppo, including 23 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen women over the age of 18, since the 15th of November 2016 and until today the 19th of November 2016.

Where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 97 civilians, including 13 children and a citizen woman at least, they were killed in the intensified airstrikes by warplanes and helicopters on most of the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city, and in shelling by the regime forces, in addition to the injury of hundreds of others.

Also the Observatory documented the death of 57 civilians, including 8 children under the age of eighteen as well as 16 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in airstrikes by warplanes and helicopter, and by missile bombing by the regime forces on towns of the western countryside of Aleppo, and also the bombing injured tens of others.

The Observatory also documented the death of six people -including two sister children- in the fall of shells on areas in the western part of Aleppo city’s neighborhoods, and also injured tens of others.

And the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and what makes the situation even worse is the great shortage of medicines and the needed treatment, and the lack of medical staff and equipment, and also the lack of certain medical specialties in the eastern section of the city, along with four hospitals had already gotten out of work, they are the hospitals of al-Hakim, and al-Bayan in Shaar neighborhood, the hospital of al-Zarzour in Ansari neighborhood and the hospital of Omar bin Abdul Aziz in Maadi neighborhood at the eastern section of the city.
