850 civilians including 245 children and local citizens killed in 2 months of continued bombardment on Aleppo

Warplanes continue the escalated bombing on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city for the fourth consecutive day, which happens to be the 60th day of escalated bombing by warplanes and helicopters, and by the artillery and missile shelling on the eastern neighborhood of the city and other areas in the eastern, western, southern and northern countryside, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 834 civilian citizens including 176 children under the age of 18 and 69 citizen women over the age of 18, in addition to the injury of thousands of others, in the period between 22nd of September 2016 until today the 22nd of November 2016.

Where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 523 civilian citizens, including 96 children and 30 citizen women, were killed in airstrikes by the regime’s and Russian warplanes and regime’s helicopters on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 84 citizens, including 11 children and 6 citizen women, killed in artillery shelling by the regime forces on places at the eastern part of Aleppo city.

Also the observatory documented 222 casualties including 68 children and 33 citizen women; they were killed by the airstrikes of the regime’s and Russian warplanes at the countryside of Aleppo.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 4 citizens; they were killed when the factions launched shells at areas in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood which is inhabited mostly by Kurdish citizens and controlled by YPG.

And young man with special needs in the Hulk neighborhood at Aleppo city died by YPG sniper shot.

Also the airstrikes to regime’s and Russian warplanes, and the shelling by the regime forces on the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city, and the fall of the shells on the western neighborhoods of the city, have injuring more than 4000 citizen, some of them are still suffering from serious wounds.

Due to the continued massive bombardment and shelling in Aleppo amid poor medical and life conditions in the besieged neighborhoods and continued falling of civilians and children, the SOHR condemns with the strongest terms the continued killing in Syria and calls for the international security council to work seriously to stop the daily death in Syria.
