About 30 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed in an attack by the “Islamic State” organization on villages inhabited mostly by Alawites in the desert of Homs

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
It rose to 27 at least, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, including one officer at least, of those who were killed in a violent attack, which was carried out by the “Islamic State” on areas of al Mas’udiyyeh, Maksar al Hsan and Jub al Jarrah, and failed during of which to control villages inhabited mostly by Alawite citizens in the eastern countryside of Homs, in an attempt by the organization to besiege the T4 airbase from several areas, also during the attack which took place during the past 24 hours; at least 25 members of the “Islamic state” organization were killed and tens of others of both parties were injured.

It is noteworthy that Jabhat Al Nusra (al Qaeda in Levant) “Fath al Sham Front currently” carried out on the 10th of September 2013 a massacre in the village of Maksar al Hsan in the eastern countryside of Homs during their control over the village for several hours, including the wife a Syrian oppositionist and former prisoner in the detentions of the regime forces for a period of 8 years, and 16 persons of the Alawite sect they are an 83 years old man and his 75 years old wife, a 45 years old man and his 89 years old mother and his 30 years old wife, and a 65 years old man, and a 40 years old woman and her two children 10 and 12 years old, a 22 years old young man, a 64 years old man and his two sons 20 and 16 years old and his 90 years old mother, and two children 9 and 11 years old, and 6 of the Bedouin who live in the same neighborhood they are a 69 years old man and his son 18 years and daughter 20 years, and a 41 years old man and an 80 years old man, and 75 years old woman.
