Tens of air, missile and artillery strikes target villages and towns of Barada Valley in the 16th day of military operations by the regime forces and Hezbollah

The regime forces are desperately trying to achieving advancement in Barada Valley (aka Wadi Barada), supported by members of the Lebanese Hezbollah and the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where violent clashes continue since this morning which is the 16th day of shelling escalation by the regime forces on the villages and towns of Barada Valley, of which the regime forces followed by military operation that aims to regain control of Barada Valley area which has a strategic importance, because it contains the water sources that feed the capital Damascus. And since this morning until now violent clashes are taking place between the rebel and Islamic factions and Fath al-Sham Front against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities in the areas of Bsima, Ain al-Fijah, Husseiniya and other areas in Wadi Barada, in conjunction with intensive and continuous artillery and missile shelling since the start of the clashes today, accompanied by the flight of the warplanes and helicopters in the skies of Barada Valley, and targeting with tens of airstrikes the villages and the barren mountains of Barada Valley, to support the regime forces who renew their attempts to advance and restore more points and sites, after bringing military reinforcements during the past 24 hours to the area, or to continue putting pressure militarily to reach a “reconciliation and the settlement of situation” agreement, just as the agreements that have taken place between the authorities of the regime and those in charge of towns and cities in the Western Ghouta, the Capital’s suburbs and the factions.
