Military operations continue in Wadi Barada and shelling causes casualties and injuries in the besieged Madaya city

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The violent clashes continue between the Islamic factions and Fath al-Sham Front against the “Islamic State” in the area of Mount Petra in the Eastern al-Qalamoun, and information about casualties in the ranks of both parties, amid new raids by warplanes on areas in the Eastern al-Qalamoun, also violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah against the Islamic factions and Fath al-Sham Front in the areas of the villages of Bsima and Husseiniya in Wadi Barada, amid more raids by warplanes and helicopters on areas in the Wadi Barada, in conjunction with heavy and continuous shelling by the regime forces on areas in Wadi Barada and other places in its barren mountains, no information about casualties at the moment.

 

Meanwhile, areas of the besieged city of Madaya were shelled by the regime forces, which killed at least two persons and injured several others, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation in the besieged city by the regime forces and Hezbollah and as a result of the poor medical and sanitary conditions and the lack of medical treatment and the ability to save some critical cases, due to severe shortages in equipment, medical tools and medicines.
