Preparations for an agreement in Barada valley after regime forces fail in the military solution

Reef Dimashq province: SOHR was informed that a silence is taking over Barada valley after 18 days of continued clashes between regime forces and rebels around the area amid bombardment by regime forces and massive airstrikes on the area, the silence comes during an attempt to reach agreement of casefire in the area after clashes between the two sides around Dahra alNaila, confirmed reports of advances for the regime and Hezbollah.

SOHR received information that regime forces advanced towards Basima and Ein Feja, in order to open a new fighting fronts ” Huraira-Kafar Awamid- Berhlia ” which is a strategic area, will be helpful for the regime to cut the supply roads which connects these areas with Qalamon, Sources reported to SOHR that the leading road of Barada valley, its mountain and wastelands are being closed due to the snow and delayed the regime to advance in the area.

Barada valley witnessed military operations for 18 days, sources confirmed that during the past 24 hours negotiations are taking place between Russian sides and notables from Barada valley in order to fix the water suppliers in Ein al-Fija, reliable sources reported that regime forces and demanding the rebels in leaving the area, in return the regime will stop the military operations in the area, Hezbollah is seeking a full settlement in Barada valley after reaching an agreement or the exit of rebels from the area.
