The Syria Democratic Forces and US Special forces control a village north of al-Tabaqa and reach the outskirts of the strategic Dam of Euphrates

The vicinity of al-Swidiyyeh Sghireh village is witnessing continued violent clashes between members of the “Islamic State” against the Syria Democratic Forces backed by warplanes of the international coalition and US Special Forces, where violent clashes are taking place in the village, which is about 4 km away the Euphrates Dam in the northern countryside of al-Tabaqa city west of Al-Raqqah, after the Syria Democratic Forces managed to advance and control the village, which allows these forces to advance directly towards the strategic Dam of Euphrates, after becoming on its outskirts, the clashes were accompanied by intense shelling between both parties, and airstrikes of the warplanes of the coalition on the clash areas, where the organization is trying to re-advance in the area and regain control of this village, also the Syria Democratic Forces managed yesterday to take control of the ancient Castle of Ja’bar.
