Rising breaches in several areas of Syria in the 12th day of the truce of the Caesar and the Sultan
The Turkish – Russian truce ended its twelfth day, it was started on the 30th of December 2016, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored and documented the breaches, where violent clashes took place between the regime forces, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic Factions and Fateh al-Sham Front, in Ain the areas of al-Fijah, Bsima, Kafr Awamid, Deir Meqren and Wadi al-Loz near Kfir al-Zayt in Wadi Barada, in an attempt by the forces to advance in these areas, amid continued targeting by the regime forces for the area with artillery shells and rockets believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with airstrikes that targeted the valley area during the day, reliable sources confirmed that the reinforcements were brought to Wadi Barada area from checkpoints and locations of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the area around Wadi Barada and the nearby areas in Qalamoun and Zabadani plains area, while fighter of the Islamic factions was killed during clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the Eastern Ghouta, also violent clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them on against and Islamic factions in the vicinity of the Missile Battalion in Hazrma, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve an advancement in the farms west of the Battalion, amid the fall of 3 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the towns of al-Nashabiyah and Hazrma and other places in al-Marj area, also clashes are taking place between both parties on the outskirts of al-Mid’aani, also the regime forces renewed the shelling on areas in the Eastern Ghouta, where they targeted with 6 rockets areas in the towns of Hosh al-Salhiyyeh and Outaya and Hazrma, which injured 4 people, also the regime forces shelled areas in Al-Ghantu town in the northern countryside Homs, while clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions in the vicinity of Talbiseh city north of Homs province, also the regime forces shelled areas in Kisin village and other places in Zafarana village and several other areas in the same countryside, while warplanes bombed places in Ezz al-Din area in the northeastern countryside of Homs, and the outskirts of Deir Ful village in the northern countryside of Homs.
Also helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in Atshan village in the northeastern countryside of Hama, while the factions bombed areas in Al-Rabiah town in the western countryside of Hama which is under the control of the regime forces, while the regime forces shelled areas in the town of Morek in the northern countryside of Hama, also helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the town of Halfaya and al-Zowwar village in the northern countryside of Hama, while warplanes carried out several raids on areas in Al-Lataminah town and Lahaya village in the northern countryside of Hama, also the regime forces shelled areas in Western countryside of Jisr al-Shughur, while the regime forces launched rocket shells on areas in the eastern outskirts of Jisr al-Shughur city, while warplanes carried out a raid on area at the road between the city of Idlib and the town of Sarmin in the eastern countryside Idlib, also warplanes carried out a new raid on area in the eastern outskirts of Khan Shaykhun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with bombing by warplanes on areas in the villages of Mdaya and Tal Aas and other places in the town of al-Taman’aa in the same countryside, where the airstrikes on the southern countryside of Idlib resulted in material damage, while several shells launched by the Islamic factions and fell on areas in al-Fu’aa town, which is inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northeastern countryside of Idlib, also the regime forces targeted with several artillery and rocket shells areas in Kabani at Jabal al-Akrad and other areas in Jabal al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia.
Also areas in Daraa city were bombed by the regime forces, while areas in the towns of Naemeh and Yadodeh the northwestern countryside of Daraa were shelled by the regime forces, while the regime forces detonated houses near Yadodeh area, also the regime forces shelled areas on the outskirts of the Western al-Gharya town, amid clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions, where three fighters from the rebel and Islamic Factions were killed, one of them is a media activist in a rebel faction, while the regime forces shelled areas in Qiratah village at Lajat area in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, while helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the village of Kom al-Remman at Lajat area in the northeastern countryside of Daraa, also the regime forces launched several shells on places in destroyed city of Quneitra which caused material damage, while warplanes carried out after midnight yesterday several raids on areas in the villages of al-Bwayda and al-Mentar in the southern countryside of Aleppo, also warplanes carried out several raids in Sheikh Ali village, Kafr Halab, Rif al-Mohandesin and other areas in the western countryside of Aleppo, which injured people in the village of Sheikh Ali, while places in the southern countryside of Aleppo were bombarded.
This Russian – Turkish truce is the third ceasefire in Syria during the year 2016, and it started at midnight of Thursday – Friday the 30th of December 2016, also a Russian – American cease-fire took place in most areas of Syria and continued since 7 in the evening of the 12th of September 2016 until 7 in the evening of the 19th of September 2016, also it was preceded by a truce and a cease-fire in Syria in the 27th of February 2016, but the agreement fell apart in the last third of April 2016, and the military machines re-started the killing and the escalation of bombing on most areas of Syria.
