Continuous clashes in the countryside of Al-Raqqah and coalition’s airstrikes cause casualties and 8 injuries in shelling at al-Fu’aa

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
An explosion was heard on the road between Sluk town and Beir Ashiq area  in the northeastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, caused by an IED explosion targeted Syria Democratic Forces, and information about the death of a member at least and the injury of others in the explosion, while clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” in areas near the village of Hwaij and al-Kormanji, which were controlled by Syria Democratic Forces today, in a new attempt by them to advance and control of more villages within the second phase of “Euphrates Wrath” operation, which was announced in the 10th of December 2016, also a man and child were killed in bombing by warplanes believed to belong to the international coalition on areas on the outskirts of Dibsi Afnan village, also several persons were wounded at the same bombing, while SOHR received information about the injury of a commander of a brigade of the Syria Democratic Forces in an assassinate operation by blowing up a mine in his car in the countryside of Al-Raqqah, while the warplanes of the coalition targeted places in Abu Kabra area and its vicinity in the countryside of Al-Raqqah, no information about casualties yet.

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
At least 8 people were injured -including 5 children and a citizen woman- in shelling by the Islamic factions on areas in the town of al-Fu’ah, which is inhabited by Shiite citizens northeast of Idlib city.
