The “Islamic State” organization advances in Deir Ezzor city and its vicinity, warplanes intensify the raids on the city and the clash areas

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
warplanes continue targeting the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city with its missiles, along with the continuation of the attack which was carried out by the “Islamic State” organization dawn of Saturday the 14th of January 2017, where the violent clashes continued between members of the organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the neighborhoods of al-Senaúh, al-Jabilah, Rashdiyyah, al-Mowazzafin, al-Ommal, Resafa, al-Bogeleyyah and the area around Deir Ezzor airbase and the area around the Brigade 137, amid heavy and continuous shelling between both parties, where the organization was able to achieve new advancement in the cemetery area and in the area around the airbase with intensive targeting by warplanes for these two areas, while the activists of the Syrian Observatory for human rights monitored the arrival of 6 ambulances carrying casualties and injuries from the members of the organization to the hospital of al-Mayadin city coming from ​​Deir Ezzor city, while the “Islamic State” organization shelled areas in neighborhoods controlled by the regime forces in the city of Deir Ezzor, which killed at least two persons and wounded several others, some of them are in critical situations, which may raise the death toll, but no information yet about the casualties caused by the raids and military operations between the organization and the regime.
