Regime forces’ offensive continues for the second day in a row at the eastern desert of Homs and clashes in the northern countryside of Quneitra

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” in the vicinity of the T4 airbase in the eastern countryside of Homs, where the regime forces are trying on the second day of the offensive they started on Saturday the 14th of January 2016; to achieve an advancement and regain control of areas they have lost in the western desert of Palmyra, and other areas in eastern countryside of Homs, since the “Islamic State’s” attack on the 8th of December 2016.

Al-Quneitra Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Clashes took place between NDF against the rebel and Islamic Factions on the outskirts of Hodr town in the northern countryside of Al-Quneitra, accompanied by shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas.
