With the death of about 25 Turkish soldiers within a month after the first defeat on the outskirts of al-Bab… About 200 civilians were killed and tens were injured in the Turkish shelling on the city and its countryside

5 Turkish soldiers were killed when a fighter of the “Islamic State” organization from Khan Shaykhun city detonated himself in a booby trapped vehicle in al-Seflaniyyeh area in the northeastern countryside of al-Bab city, rising to about 25, the number of soldiers of the Turkish forces who were killed since the first defeat for them at the hands of the “Islamic State” organization on 21st of December 2016, while they were trying to advance from the western areas of al-Bab city, and among the total death toll there are 2 were executed by the “Islamic State” organization by burning them while they were standing and then setting fire to a fuse which brought the fire to their bodies and they were burned until they were blackened.

This rise in in the death toll of the Turkish Forces, came with bombing by the organization for a booby trapped vehicle yesterday, after bombing, intense raids, rocket and artillery shelling by the Turkish forces and warplanes, accompanied by the repeated attempts by the Turkish forces to advance in the northeastern area of al-Bab city, so they can reach their goal of besieging al-Bab city from several sides, and put pressure on the organization which controls the city, in order to expel it or force it to withdraw from the city.

The same period has also witnessed the death of tens of citizens and the injury of tens of others, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 180 civilian casualties, including 36 children under the age of eighteen and 17 citizen woman, the number of civilians who were killed in shelling by the Turkish forces and Turkish warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and its vicinity and countryside, including 50 casualties including 8 children and a citizen woman were killed in the rocket, artillery and air strikes on areas in Tedef and Bzaah and other areas in the countryside of al-Bab, also 18 persons were killed in bombing by warplanes believed to be Russian on areas in the town Tedef and other areas in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.
