Intense raids target the northern countryside of Hama and a rebel army announces the collapse of the ceasefire

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Warplanes carried out 18 raids at least since shortly before midnight yesterday and until after midnight on areas in the towns and villages of Al-Lataminah, Morek, Tayyibat al-Imam, al-Zowwar and Zakat in the northern countryside of Hama, it is not known whether the warplanes belong to the Russians or to the Syrian regime, where 8 raids at least targeted areas in the town of al-Lataminah, and the rest of the raids targeted the areas mentioned above, also some airstrikes targeted sites and headquarters of Jaysh al-Izza and killed 2 of its fighters at least, and confirmed information about more casualties in the ranks of the fighters, also Jaysh al-Izza issued a statement and the Syrian Observatory for human rights received a copy of it, it stated:
“Because of the lack of commitment by Russia as a guarantor party of the ceasefire agreement signed on 30th of December 2016 and due to the advancement of the sectarian and Iranian militia and forces of Assad to Wadi Barada; and evacuating villagers from their homes and changing the demographic population in spite of Russia’s false promises that it will not be stormed and advanced to, in addition to the bombing of the Russian warplanes for headquarters of Jaysh al-Izza and the residential areas around it in the northern countryside of Hama on Sunday 29/01/2017 by intensive and successive raids by the Russian warplanes, for all of that, we, in Jaysh al-Izza announce that as today we are not committed to this agreement and we are resolved of it, and we will continue to defend our land and our people, which have not and will not stop until the overthrow of the tyrant Bashar al-Assad”.
