After killing about 250 civilians and the approach of the regime forces from to al-Bab city… a new attack by the Turkish forces toward the city

 

Clashes described as violent are taking place in the vicinity of al-Bab city and areas near it in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, between the rebel and Islamic factions of the “Euphrates Shield” operation and the Turkish forces against the “Islamic State” organization, a new attempt by the Turkish forces and the fighters of “Euphrates Shield” to advance toward the al-Bab city from the eastern and northeastern side of the city.

This new attack by the Turkish forces toward al-Bab city and attempting to achieve a new advancement, comes after their fail to achieve an advancements in the past days and weeks, also it comes with the continued violent clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them led by Tiger groups against members of the organizing the southern and southwestern countryside of al-Bab city, about 7 km away from it, after restoring control of 20 villages and towns at least in these two areas by the regime forces.

the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday  the information received from several reliable sources, that, in conjunction with the advancement of the regime forces towards the city from the southwestern and southern areas, and the Turkish forces and the “Euphrates Shield’s” surrounding of the city from the western, northern and northeastern areas, the “Islamic State” organization -which fiercely repelled the violent attacks by Turkish forces on the city earlier and killed and injured tens of soldiers of the Turkish Forces- have begun making preparations to withdraw from the city, which is the largest remaining strongholds in the countryside of Aleppo, out of fear of being besieged by the Turkish forces and the regime forces.

Also the Syrian Observatory documented the rise of death toll in al-Bab area to 247 civilians, including 50 children and 28 citizen women, were killed in al-Bab area and its countryside in the incessant shelling since the first defeat for the Turkish forces, also 227 civilians were killed, including 50 children under the age of eighteen and 27 citizen woman, in shelling by Turkish forces and Turkish warplanes on areas in al-Bab city and other areas in the towns of Tedef and Bzaah, and other places in the countryside of al-Bab, while the Observatory documented the death of about 20 civilians -including two children and a citizen woman- by bombing by warplanes believed to be Russian on areas in Tedef town and other areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
