Agreement between Fateh al-Sham Front and al-Sham Corps in Maarrat al-Nu’man and more factions merge with Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham

Battalion of al-Huthayfa ibn al-Yaman operating in the town of Darat Azza in the western countryside of Aleppo issued a statement resigning from the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham and merging with the newly formed Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and Darat Azza witnessed yesterday an attack by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on the town’s court which belongs to the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham, where Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham pulled out after controlling the court and the checkpoints around it, this withdrawal came after mediation by several parties which operate in the western countryside of Aleppo and in the countryside of Idlib.
Also an agreement took place between Fateh al-Sham Front and al-Sham Corps in the city of Maarrat al-Nu’man in the Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights got a copy of the draft of the agreement in which it says:

“It was agreed between the brothers in Fatah al-Sham (formerly) represented by the brother Abu Mosab al-Suri the Amir of Maarrat al-Nu’man area and between al-Sham Corps represented by the brother Abu Subhi as follows:

  1. Neutralizing the Central Hospital of Maarrat al-Nu’man of all military headquarters except for a detachment guarding to ensure the security of the hospital designated by Jabhat Tahrir al-Sham.
  2. Forming a judicial Sharia Commission agreed upon later to look at:

– The killing of the 3 brothers in front of the hospital

– The behavior of one of the hospital staff with an injured person of Fateh al-Sham (formerly)

  1. Commitment of the active staff of al-Sham Corps (leaders – Sharia men- security) with the general policy of the Corps.
  2. In this critical period the brother Abu Subhi leads the work on behalf of al-Sham Corps in Maarrat al-Nu’man by an assignment from the leadership of the Corps.
  3. The re-activation of the Shura Council and country management (Maarrat al-Nu’man) represented by the following factions:
    * Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham (Abu Mosab al-Suri)

* The Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham (Dr. Hussein)

* Al-Sham Corps (Abu Subhi).”
