Regime forces advance in Tadmur Badia after 55 days of disadvantages

The western Badia of Tadmur is witnessing continued military operation by regime forces since the 14th of January 2017 and were able to advance in areas that were taken over by the IS 55 days ago after an attack by IS on the area as it brought 300 militants from Iraq after orders by al-Baghdadi.

The military operations continue in its 18th day, the regime failed to gain control in wide areas amid human losses and injuries in its side, the regime forces in the past 72 hours advanced in al-Mahjora faction and the Neias village, in addition to taking control on Bir al-Fawaira and Abo Tawala farm, the clashes continue between the two sides around the hills of al-Taias crossing the 4th station around al-Her palace amid bombardment on the area, and confirmed reports of human losses in both sides.
