Shells target al-Wafedin camp with the opening of the Russian crossing for the second day between Damascus and its Eastern Ghouta across the camp

The sounds of explosions were heard in the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, in conjunction with the military operations that take place in Hosh al-Dawahra front in al-Marj area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the explosions were caused by targeting al-Wafedin camp with several shells landed in different areas of the camp, no information until the moment about casualties Targeting the camp comes with the continued opening of the crossing, which is supervised by Russia, between the factions’ controlled areas and the capital Damascus through al-Wafedin camp, which was allocated for the exit of civilians or fighters who wish to leave the areas controlled by factions in the Eastern Ghouta and besieged by the regime forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah and the gunmen loyal to them.

In the same context, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that until now no one has left the Eastern Ghouta  to areas controlled by the factions in the Eastern Ghouta, and then went to the capital Damascus, or other areas controlled by the regime forces on the outskirts in the Eastern Ghouta and other areas in Syria, also opening the crossing came with the start of an offensive by the regime forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah yesterday on the east of the Missile Battalion in Hazrma area in the Eastern Ghouta, and on Hosh al-Dawahra area, where both fronts are witnessing clashes between the regime forces, the Lebanese Hezbollah and the gunmen loyal to them against Jaysh al-Islam and other factions supporting it, in conjunction with intensive exchange of shelling between both parties, during of which tens of fighters and members were killed and wounded.
