Intensive air raids cause a massacre of about 50 casualties and injuries in the besieged neighborhood of al-Wa’er in Homs city

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The operation of helping the injured people continue in the besieged neighborhood of al-Wa’er by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, where about 50 persons were injured as a result of more than 20 airstrikes carried out by warplanes on areas in al-Wa’er neighborhood, the death of 3 of them at least is confirmed, they could not be rescued because of poor the sanitary conditions and a lack of resources and lack of medicines and the needed medical equipment, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, while the regime forces shelled areas in the neighborhood, also explosions were heard in the vicinity of the Ebla Gas Company near the Furqlus area, they were caused by the fall of mortar shells on the company’s vicinity, while clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in areas at the western desert of Palmyra, where the regime forces are trying to control mountains surrounding and overlooking Palmyra area.
