In the 18th day of bombing escalation on the besieged neighborhood of al-Wa’er… warplanes carried out more than 40 strikes on the neighborhood and leave about 50 dead and wounded

Warplanes bombed areas in the town of Al-Ghantu and other places in the village of Terre Maaleh in the northern countryside of Homs, no information about casualties, while the warplanes continued the bombing on al-Wa’er neighborhood which is besieged by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the city of Homs, and the Syrian Observatory for human rights was aware that warplanes carried out more than 40 airstrikes targeted areas in al-Wa’er, which killed 3 persons at least and injured about 50 others, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, also the regime forces shelled using artillery and rocket shells areas in al-Wa’er neighborhood.

This massacre comes with regime forces’ continuous escalation in al-Wa’er neighborhood for the 18th day in a row, where it rose to 36 including 10 children under the age of eighteen and 3 citizen women, the number of persons who were killed in the neighborhood since the start of the escalation, they are 3 persons were killed today in the air raids, and 3 men and young men were killed by shelling and firing on the neighborhood, and 2 men and 2 children brothers were killed by airstrikes on the neighborhood, and a woman and a child were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on al-Wa’er neighborhood, and 6 Men and young men and a child were killed in shelling by the regime forces, and 18 including 6 children and 2 women were killed in raids carried out by warplanes on areas in the besieged neighborhood of al-Wa’er, also the bombing and shelling have damaged the property of citizens, in addition to injuring tens of other citizens.
