After the end of “Euphrates Shield” operation… the Military Council of Tall Rifaat prepares to launch a wide attack in the northern countryside of Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information from reliable sources in the Military Council of Tall Rifaat, that the Council has stop its participation with the “Euphrates Shield” operation in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, after the process of controlling al-Bab city and the towns of Bzaah and Qabasin, and the control processes of villages in their vicinity, and the sources confirmed to the Observatory that the Military Council of Tall Rifaat will pour its energy in a military operation to be launched in the coming period against the Syria Democratic Forces, which took control (at the beginning of 2016) of villages and towns used to be controlled by the factions in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The operation of the Military Council of Tall Rifaat is planned to be launched in the northern countryside of Aleppo with the participation of local fighters, and aim to retrieve several towns and villages that are now controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, in order to return tens of thousands of displaced persons of these areas to their homes, villages and towns, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Military Council began returning with its fighters, arms and weapons to Tall Rifaat area to start the military operation.
