Russian forces and the regime forces are following the policy of the scorched earth in the eastern countryside of Aleppo and carrying out more than 400 air and rocket strikes on its villages

Warplanes, helicopters, artillery and tanks of both the Russian forces the regime forces have not stopped targeting the eastern countryside of Aleppo, where the operation in the area continue and led by Tiger groups and supported by gunmen loyal to the regime and the elite forces of Hezbollah and the Russian forces, where the last mentioned have stepped up their targeting for the villages that are still under the control of the “Islamic State” organization, in order to accelerate their advancement in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, towards al-Khafseh area near the western banks of the Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, after controlling more than 22 villages and hill and area by the regime forces in the southeastern countryside of al-Bab and the northeastern countryside of Deir Hafer during the past 3 days.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have monitored the Russian and regime’s warplanes and the regime forces and their artillery battalions targeting the villages that are still under the control of the “Islamic State” organization by about 400 airstrikes and rocket and artillery shells, including at least 150 raids during the past 48 hours, following the scorched earth policy, in an attempt to force the “Islamic State” organization to withdraw from more villages so they can be able to advance and expand their  controlled area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, to reach al-Khafseh area where the water station is located, where the organization cut off its water of hundreds of thousands of citizens in Aleppo city, the regime forces now are at a distance of 13 to 14 kilometers away from the al-Khafseh area.
