The regime forces supported by Russian artillery and Hezbollah’s elite advance after hundreds of airstrikes and raids, and become at a distance of 11 km of Aleppo’s water pumping station

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes continued violently between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, amid violent and intense shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas and on areas controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, where the regime forces achieved a new advancement and controlled the villages of Rashdiyyah, Samya, Kherbet Ashini, Northern Jeb Abyad and al-Saqiyeh in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and by this advancement the regime forces managed to reduce the distance to the 13 km away of the town of al-Khafseh, and about 11 kilometers away of the nearby water station of al-Khafseh town near the western banks of the Euphrates River, which supplies water to Aleppo city.
