More than 100 air, artillery and missile strikes target the capital Damascus and eastern Ghouta in an unprecedented escalation in months

The eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus and Ghouta are witnessing since the morning an intensified air and missile strikes by the regime forces and warplanes, where the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored warplanes carrying out 51 raids, where they targeted with more than 26 raids areas in orchards of Teshreen neighborhood and farms located in the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus, as well as targeting the cities of Harasta and Arbin in the Eastern Ghouta by about 25 raids, where 2 warplanes targeted the capital and Ghouta which wounded several people, in conjunction with heavy shelling by the regime forces using at least 20 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground landed on areas in the outskirts of the capital, also the regime forces launched more than 30 shells on the outskirts of Damascus and its eastern Ghouta, where 10 of which targeted areas in Saqba farms and the outskirts of Douma, causing the death of 2 men and injuring several others, while the rest of the shells fell on areas in the neighborhoods and farms east of the capital.
