17 members of the “Islamic State” organization, including a Moroccan commander were killed in Russian aerial bombing and missile attack on their sites at Maskanah area, regime forces continue trying to control al-Jarrah airbase

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces supported by elite forces of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Russian artillery battalions had not been able until this moment to fully control the al-Jarrah airbase, although they were able to control it by firearms, they have entered parts of it and carried out operations of inspection and mines dismantling, after the withdrawal of most of members of the “Islamic State” organization out of the airbase.

In a related context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was aware that at least 17 members of the “Islamic State” organization -including a Moroccan commander- were killed today in the intensive raids by Russian warplanes and the violent missile bombardment by the regime forces and Russian artillery on places in the area of Maskanah and its surroundings in the areas that are still under the control of the organization, which is witnessing consecutive collapse in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, also Maskanah and villages near it are still witnessing continue displacement by the residents to other villages controlled by the organization in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
