Continued clashes in the eastern countryside of al-Raqqah city within the “Euphrates Wrath” operations

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The violent clashes are still taking place in areas on the northern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah between the Syria Democratic Forces backed by warplanes of the International Coalition against the “Islamic State” organization, the continuation of clashes comes after a counter attack carried out by the organization in several areas, associated with exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties and information about casualties, as well as hearing the sound of explosions. The Syria Democratic Forces had controlled today the village of Khas Ejil in the eastern countryside, while the “Islamic State” organization detonated a booby trapped vehicle in al-Hama village area in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of members of the Syria Democratic Forces.
