Violent clashes in the vicinity of the towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya in the countryside of Idlib and the “Islamic State” organization continues its attempt to recover what it lost east of Al-Raqqah

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Violent clashes took place shortly before midnight yesterday and lasted until the early hours of this morning in the vicinity of the towns of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northeastern countryside of Idlib, between the Islamic factions against the local gunmen loyalists to the regime forces, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties using rocket shells and heavy machine guns, and information about casualties in their ranks, while an IED exploded in Hzarin village in the countryside of Idlib which caused injuries.

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The “Islamic State” organization continues its counter attack in areas at the northern banks of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, where violent clashes are taking place against the Syria Democratic Forces backed by warplanes of the International Coalition in the area, amid exchange of targeting between both parties, and the Syria Democratic Forces took control yesterday morning on Khas Ejil village in the eastern countryside.
